The one notable free agent on your team you want gone or glad is gone

Happy to see Spencer Long walk. Good god almighty was he a nightmare. Same for Buster Skrine, best known for shoddy coverage and endless PIs at crucial moments.

Nick Perry just because his injuries were frustrating. Whoever signs him may be getting a stud though. Or a lot of annoyance if he's not healthy still. He hasn't been healthy in like 3 years.

But I'm pretty glad Kentrell Brice will no longer be getting significant snaps at safety for GB.

The 49ers can't quit Jimmie Ward, and thats kind of frustrating. He's an okay NFL player, but he doesn't play great in any one particular position. He's also constantly hurt, with 4 of his 5 seasons ending up on IR with a broken bone. Just can't count on him to be on the field at all. Yet the staff loves him. We eschewed all of those very solid free agent free safeties on the market this year to bring him back. Very frustrating.

He's not OK. He's horrible. Horrible in every facet of the game. Horrible tackler, no ball hawk skills, can't cover.

He's a fine slot corner. Nothing wrong with him there, and he's certainly not a bad tackler for a corner either. He's horrific on the outside. Not a lot of experience in the safety position, but I certainly wasn't impressed with him when he got a shot there.

It's a really bittersweet kind of happy, but honestly, Eric Berry. Amazing human being, fantastic player for a time, but the season long saga of him being day to day, and will he or won't he play, was brutal and frustrating. And so much money for so few snaps.
