WindyCity
Ian RapoportVerified account @RapSheet 5m5 minutes ago More The #Bears are signing S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to a 1-year deal, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. Formerly of the #Redskins and #Packers, he gets a new home in Chicago.
TENINCH
Slap in the face to Packer fans. Luckily he's not that good
WindyCity
Considering it is a 1 year deal this is nice for the Bears. It gives them a veteran who can start, but does not tie up multi year money at the position. Gives them a little more range and playmaking at the SS spot. Provided it's not a lot of cash, it does make sense, money wise. Except, I might be more comfortable with a multi-year deal for somebody cheaper... Fl0nkerton
So weird. When he tries, he's pretty good but his effort is laughable most of the time.

Shanedorf
Really a strange fit. A Safety who who graduated from the Deion Sanders School of clean-jersey football....playing for the Monsters of the Midway They'll toughen him up or ship him out. And with only a 1 year deal, he knows he needs to show much better effort this season

KingOfTheNorth
Seems like an odd choice for a SS. His issues have always been effort, pursuit, and tackling.

WindyCity
My guess is he will be better because of the collective and the culture around him. The ball skills will be a nice addition to the SS position.
