RaidersAreOne
Was an awesome LT for us for a couple seasons but injuries and the move to RT killed him. Could offer some depth to a needy team but his days of starting should be over.
BayRaider
Posted this in the Raider Forum: Finally.. much needed cap space and he is not starter quality anymore. But if you’re reading Penn, thanks for 2014-2016 bro. Top 5 LT those three years and played your heart out. We will always be grateful.

#1RAIDER FAN
Huge reason for Carr's success in 2016, that line was amazing.
BobbyPhil1781
Age caught up with him and he became a liability. Good luck to him

patman
With Waddle moving on the pats need a b/u LT. He will be great for a year.
ET80
I could see him in Houston as a bridge/rotational starter with whoever is drafted. Would be a good way to both improve the OL and ease in a franchise LT who might need some refining.
FalconFan13
Thats a shame to see 2 of the best in the league being cut after either injuries or age catching up to them. Penn and Schraeder fell off a cliff the last season or 2 after being considered some of the best tackles at their position for a good bit there. Penn at LT and Schraeder at RT oh well like all things it's time to bring in the new guys and let them build their legacy.
TecmoSuperJoe
Penn has had a solid career. Especially coming in as an undrafted free agent. That was a well thought-out heartfelt goodbye to the Raider Nation. He should land a job somewhere. At least as a backup if he wants to keep playing. Texans02
7 hours ago, Forge said: Have you guys addressed the line at all yet? Not via free agency. The only OL move so far is letting OT Kendall Lamm sign elsewhere. He was not a starter, or at least wasn't meant to be one. From what we can tell, the FO is banking on Seantrel Henderson returning healthy and making a difference. This is not a good omen. Overwhelming sentiment is they needed to bolster the line, and the higher end options have signed elsewhere already.
