That being said, his footwork has always been terrible, and along with that, his balance. Even with a shift to guard, you still need those. The odds of Flowers becoming a contributor are still next to none, but's not the worst move the Redskins could make. However, the Redskins have terrible luck with injuries (personally, it isn't luck but our subpar S&C department) so healthy bodies are a plus. He actually was ok last year for us. Had his problems but wasn't nearly as bad as Giants fans made him out to be when we put him in the lineup.
