Just don't be Fleener II, that's all we need.

Ugh. Fleener was SO bad.

Cook has been so hit and miss his whole career....hopefully he balls out for the Saints like he did for the Raiders last year.

Hit or miss? The Rams just sucked all those years and misused him. He was an absolute beast for the Packers and Raiders.

Has anyone heard of the numbers yet?

Rumors that its "basically" a 1 year $8m fully guaranteed deal. Not sure if that means its actually longer but only guaranteed in year 1 or what, but thats a pretty damn good deal for us

Jared Cook is an underrated as far as TEs go. If he didn't waste away on a horrible Rams team he would be getting paid right now. I wish the Packers would have never got rid of him.

This. We haven't had a good TE since Cook.

Saints fans should be happy about this, he's a stud and easily an upgrade over Ben Watson, which is scary to think about in THIS offense.

We are very happy! We lacked a threat outside of MT last year and it allowed teams to double or triple cover him at times. Cook doesn't need to be a prime Jimmy Graham, he just needs to be someone who can get open and keep defenses honest. Brees is gonna love him

The deal between the #Saints and FA TE Jared Cook will be signed today. It’s a 2-year contract worth $15.5M, including $8M fully guaranteed in Year 1. A big weapon for coach Sean Payton’s offense and a really nice payday for the 32-year-old.
