tyler735
Operation sign all the Vikings free agents has been a success for the Saints so far this off-season.
SteelKing728
We have like no return men anymore lol
y*so*blu
He's been a good returner for us over the years but was definitely losing a step. Not a big loss if Hughes can take over for him. Still, he's one of Rochester's favorite sons and I'll miss him.
Dome
He old, but it’s much better than putting Kamara back there IMO
vikingsrule
Sherels isn't an exciting return man but he always churns out positive yards and rarely loses the ball. He's steady and reliable. He's a good ST coverage guy too. Don't expect any significant contribution at CB, he really is just a CB in name only.
Dome
Just saw on twitter, the Saints two longest punt returns last year were 17 and 16 yards Sherels had six returns of over 20 in that time

In reality, he isn’t super special anymore but he isn’t one that will cost you a game. He basically catches it, and runs forward.

Any kind of return is better than what we've seen from the Saints. Pretty sure you wouldn't even need all 10 fingers to count how many punt returns have gone over 15 yards in the last 10 years. Well it's not like they can get the Minneapolis Miracle back? Why not poach as many as possible for this last run?
