Witzmann lost the starting left guard job to Cameron Erving in Kansas City and was let go before the start of the 2018 season. He joined the Minnesota Vikings on September 10 and was released on October 5. The Bears signed him not long after his release by the Vikings. He began splitting reps with Kush at the right guard position following an injury to starter Kyle Long."

Dont tell Kiwi, running the ball is a 1970's thing. 😉
Thomas5737
Cam Erving won when he signed, 2018 was fully guaranteed and he had 4.3 million signing bonus. So his dead cap would have been over 5 million after he just signed a 3 year 8 million dollar deal. He isn't great, has been cut since then but Cam Erving pretty much had to start or at least make the roster due to his contract.
