Mrd27
I typically provide explanations, however, this is sort of an in-between mock for me. I'll release one with explanations once FA is truly done, and then a final one the day prior to the draft when we all know more. I expect some more moves to happen prior to the draft. That being said, a few key points to note that help me govern the way I mock certain teams Teams, in my opinion, are in 1 of 4 stages at all times (or in transition from one to another, transitions don't last more than a year usually) You Don't have a qb Your QB is on contract 1 Your QB is on contract 2 Your QB is good enough he made it to contract 3 In stage 1, you do one of 2 things - you take a QB or the BPA In stage 2, you do everything you can to help your QB succeed In stage 3, you put too much on the QB because you gave him a massive payday, so you see if he sinks or swims while building a defense In stage 4, your QB swam, you should be competing for a title, you go BPA or fill any massive needs Or you're the Oakland Raiders, and DGAF about anything (Stage 5) I'll note each's situation after the pick in (#), some are kind of inbetween or unique. Hope you enjoy. Now to the draft - 1. Arizona - Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma (1) 2. San Francisco - Quinnen Williams, DL, Alabama (3) 3. NY Jets - Nick Bosa, DE, OSU (2) 4. Oakland - Josh Allen, EDGE, Kentucky (5) 5. Detroit via Tampa Bay - Montez Sweat, EDGE, MSU (3) Detroit receive #5; Tampa Receive #8; #88; and 2020 third round 6. NY Giants via Buffalo – Dwayne Haskins, QB, OSU (1) NY Giants receive #9, Buffalo receives # 17, #96, 2020 second & fourth round 10. Washington via Denver – Drew Lock, QB, Missouri (1) Washington receive #10, #71, Denver receives #15, #46, #96 11. Cincinnati – Devin Bush, LB, Michigan (3) 12. GB – T.J Hockenson, TE, Iowa (4) 13. Miami – Clelin Ferrel, EDGE, Clemson (1) 14. Atlanta – Ed Oliver, DT, Houston (4) 15. Denver via Washington – Jonah Williams, OL, Alabama (1~3) 16. Carolina – Johnathan Abram, S, MSU (3) 17. SBLIII
Fant, Lawrence or Tillery is what I hope we will draft at 32. (or trade up for them some spots) So I would be happy about that.
bigdog2372
Love the trade back for the Bucs!!
FalconFan13
Perfect for the falcons don't change a thing on your later mock drafts. Ed Oliver to the Falcons is the best pick possible for us If you do other rounds then go a Edge rusher, NT, or OT in rounds 2 and 3.
Jason_Bengal_Fl
I like Bush, but I'd have a hard time passing on Oliver even if Bush fills a bigger need.
ttitansfan4life
If the Titans took Ferguson that high with guys like Burns, Bradbury, Lawrence, and even Fant on the board, I’d rage. Ferguson to me is a solid player but that’s way too high for him especially with his measurables.
atown703
No safety in the 1st. Give us Brian Burns at
Scoundrel
I like the trade down and the pick for Denver. I however don’t like losing three picks in a trade down for two.
NudeTayne
Great work. Now we need more rounds. Or else.
Grandpa4962
I'd go. Ed Oliver. DL BPA Noah Fant TE instead of making a play for a center we already have in place.

I also feel like there is always an unexpected pick or pick viewed widely as a reach in the first round, and there's a few teams that are notorious for them in my opinion. Those teams are the Seahawks, Patriots, Titans, & Raiders. I try to Always mock an unpopular pick in my first rounds to one of those teams. It's a need position for Tenn, and I'm hearing that Ferguson is more highly touted than is being talked about. You talk about measurables for him, but if that means size, he's bigger than Burns I believe, at least in terms of weight. The pick may change for me, let's see what the next few weeks bring.
