Mind Character
What a difference a few weeks make. Looked like Ed Reynolds and Justin Currie were going to make the team...now both cut. Gives Calvin Pryor and Kai Nacua a chance...Will be interesting to see what they think of IC or if Gregg Williams is a big Christian Bryant fan. Our safety roster depth now is: FS Jabrill Peppers // Kai Nacua // Ibraheim Campbell // JD Harmon SS Derrick Kindred // Calvin Pryor // Christian Bryant If they think they can stash Nacua and Harmon on PS, I think we look to the waiver wire to try to upgrade on IC. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also, gives Nate Orchard and Tyrone Holmes a real shot. It comes to down to the wire on those two. I'd love for Holmes to make it to PS; however, his numbers were so over the top in college that he gets flagged by analytics/scouting dept. and likely won't clear waivers. Thomas5737
You could get by with Reynolds, that isn't a great compliment but a good sign that they believe we have better options. No room for Cam even though he would flash time to time and should catch on somewhere as a decent rotation guy.
DizzyDean
Reynolds is more a sign of injury than a sign of our other guys.
LETSGOBROWNIES
Solid move cutting these guys early so they can (and likely may) catch on elsewhere. I agree with Thomas, Reynolds proved not incompetent last season so it's good to know how much we've improved at that position.
