candyman93
Quote Jeremy Maclin@jmac___19 There will be a letter and video to follow soon in the near future. It is true I am retiring from the NFL! Stay tuned for how/why I came to this decision. Much love everyone! https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2827602-wr-jeremy-maclin-announces-retirement-from-nfl-at-wife-adia-kuzmas-baby-shower

Forge
Kind of weird how that receiver class just sort of fell off a cliff. Maclin, Crabs, Nicks, Harvin were all quality players at some point, but all were quality players for very short time periods it seemed like, to be honest. Quality player for a number of years, obviously, but when he was done, he was done.
the lone star
I still hope that Crabtree can find a spot with a new team.

Sucks about what happened to Knox though. That's terrible.
AFlaccoSeagulls
Watching Maclin play for the Ravens in 2017 was painful to watch, especially after his first in-season injury. He came back and gave almost no effort, and almost always went straight to the ground upon catching passes.
turtle28
Hell of a career, Redskins couldn’t cover him or Djax for years. Great draft picks and development by the Eagles in both players. The Redskins passed on Djax for Devin Thomas in 08... how’d that work out??

Injuries got the best of almost everyone from a class most people thought was stacked

From Giants perspective I was saddened how injuries got the best of Hakeem Nicks about cos he was darn good. Then we got Odell so I felt better and now we see what that disaster of an organisation did there...

Had he stayed healthy, I think it likely that he would have been the best of the class.
TheKillerNacho
He kinda had a bizarre career. Looked like in 2014 he was finally getting it together and I was convinced he was going to tear it up with the Chiefs.
