He's also 3 years younger. Edited April 6, 2019 by TENINCH
AkronsWitness
Can somebody tell me the difference in any of those players listed and how they are different than JJ Watt, Von Miller, Jadeveon Clowney, Yannick Ngakoue and Chandler Jones who are not included on anybodys lists Edited April 16, 2019 by AkronsWitness

Tetsujin
Where would Clowney and a healthy JJW rank if they were both 4-3 DE's?

Cheesehawk
I'm not convinced that Khalil Mack is head and shoulders above everyone else. Demarcus Lawrence is being severely underrated here

He's a great run defender and he's turned into an elite pass rusher.

showtime
I'm curious as to why everyone has Frank Clark so high? He's a pretty good pass rusher, but he's not all that stout against the run.

RTTRUTH
The funny part about this debate to me is that it would be easier just to ask who the top 10 Edge defenders are. They essentially handle all the same tasks. AND....these days teams are in sub-packages (nickel/dime) so often because of all the passing and 3/4 WR sets that essentially all the rushers in the league play some degree of 4-3 end. If it's about getting after the Quarterback, then that's what it's about. Also setting the edge, yes. But mostly we're just talking edge players that get after the passer. And for the record, in any healthy year J.J. Watt lands at #2 behind only Khalil Mack. Everyone else is an extremely good athlete. Those two aren't human!
