Former Chargers LB Kyle Emanuel retires

He was currently a free agent, having played out his rookie contract. A fifth round pick for the Bolts, he appeared in every game of his career except one during his rookie year, starting in 32 of them.

Kind of surprising... He's wasn't the most notable player out there, but he would've latched on with a team as a rotational player, perhaps starter, at the very least. He has no injury  history that I'm aware of. Wonder why he's retiring. Then again, it's not entirely uncommon to see younger players retire due to concerns about long-term health.

This is s guy who did it right. Made millions, got to play at the highest level, got out while his body could function. 

Assuming he's smart with his money and has a plan for life after Football, he's set for life. No need to worry about him.
