Every person who makes money off golf is better off financially than had there never been a Tiger Woods. That’s why every golfer interviewed today without prompting talked about him.

No single person has been as important for a sport as Tiger is to golf

Tomorrow is going to be strange with the early start, honestly I think it favors Woods the most, Tiger has mental toughness unlike anyone else and can turn his intensity on like a switch.

This guy got it spot on.

A professional golfers prime is usually somewhere in their mid thirties they still have close to the same physical strength as in their twenties and nerves can still be controlled. They also have played the seasons courses enough times to know them by now.Tigers major record from 2005 to 2009 is just unreal 6 wins and 6 top 5's basically 60% of the time he was either winning or in close competition for the win. He was just turning 34 when injuries started plaguing him, he still rebounded in 2013 winning 5 times and player of the year unfortunately no majors though he did contend. I honestly will not in Tigers case be the least bit surprised if he wins one more this year either Bethpage or Pebble, Pebble will more likely be the one it's not the long brute Bethpage is, number 2 will be converted into a par 4 but has an enormous fairway, 9 and 10 play long and tough, 12 is a tough par 5 because of the green but beyond those few the course is all about managing your game. Molinari should do well at Pebble also.

The Tiger Woods book talked about how he himself brought the purse at majors from like $1 million to $11 million.
