At the backend of the roster you need guys who are  good on teams and who have a skill you can use on offense or defense. Hall has elite speed for the offense, which has value even in really small doses.

Kinda what I was thinking as well.

It seems that most of Paces moves have been to sign FAs he believes can make the cut or re-sign guys who have made the final roster in the past.  A spot for Hall as a gunner, backup KOR/PR, and deep threat as a WR seems pretty obvious.  It looks like a very strategic signing to me.

He’s the most expendable if we draft someone. I’m toying with drafting a speed/ST guy late who basically replaces him with the same skill set (with more upside) only on a 4-year rookie deal.
