He looks a little fluffy

Vegas is fluffing Fluffy:

In a press release on Wednesday, the Westgate SuperBook — which maintains the books at many major Vegas casinos — has released their odds for the winner of the NFL’s Most Valuable Player award for the 2019 season. Rodgers, who has won MVPs in 2011 and 2014, sits in a tie for the second-best odds at 8:1. Rodgers is tied at that value with Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, and both of them trail favorite Patrick Mahomes at 4:1.

In the ole, for what it is worth category...he was Simm's #1 QB in his ranking.

I guess you gotta have him up there, but I wouldn't take those Vegas odds on him.  He's been regressing his game over the past few years and he's now in a new offense.  There are going to be struggles.  Next year, though.....

Did you see Simms rankings though?

Can't find a list that isn't a video now but I remember it was kinda wonky. Not as bad as some people were saying though but still

Simms is a pretty maybe Rodgers fan though iirc

I saw most of it...I only catch about 10 minutes of him in the morning as I get ready for work.  Usually flipping between ProFootballTalk on tv and Parks and Rec.  Parks and Rec wins out except for commercials.

Thinking Mahomes was #2.  Can't really remember the rest.

I know many think that Simms is a pretty big Rodgers fan.

Doesn't much matter to me either way, I just found it interesting.

I think Brady was like 10th. I'm guessing he thinks he'll fall off though or he hates "systems" or whatever lol

I can't think of anyone with a better argument for better odds. Mahomes? Please...

One season of production, lost his best target. I'd laugh at at anyone that thinks he legit has better odds than Rodgers of MVP in 2019.

Brees and Rodgers should be 1/2.

Yeah Mahomes ain't winning. He won't have the same numbers and that's what they'll look at. Oh, he's not as good as last year, he's out. Not a lot of back to back MVPs either iirc

from pft

The list of the quarterbacks with the most pick-sixes in NFL history is a list of Hall of Famers and future Hall of Famers: Brett Favre is first with 31, Dan Marino and Joe Namath are tied for second with 28, and Drew Brees and Peyton Manning are tied for fourth with 27.

Pro Football Reference recently updated its pick-six data and now has every quarterback’s pick-six stats going back to 1950, and that serves as a reminder of how many great quarterbacks threw a lot of pick-sixes. But it also serves as a reminder of great quarterbacks who stand out for how few pick-sixes they’ve thrown.

Aaron Rodgers has thrown just 2  pick-sixes in his career, while attempting 5,492 passes. That’s an incredibly low ratio; Rodgers is in the all-time Top 20 quarterbacks in total passes thrown, and everyone else in the Top 20 has thrown at least 10 pick-sixes.
