Aaron Rodgers Appreciation Thread 4.20

Can we show our appreciation to Rodgers by trading Rodgers?

Dude deserves one more Super Bowl ring.  Without a doubt in my mind the most physically gifted QB to ever play the game.  In no world should he be in the one ring crowd.

Needs at least a second, hopefully a third.

Won't get either here.

He certainly does deserve that.  Unbelievable/idiotic circumstances in a couple NFC games has screwed him out of the chances.  I lived through the lean 70's-80's teams that sucked ... I can live through couple more of those after they GO ALL IN for the next few years to get him another ring.

No player deserves a ring.  I'd love it if he got another one but nothing is guaranteed even if he went to another team.

No, his contract is crippling to us to trade it. We're not going to pay Rodgers 32 million dollars to go play for somebody else.

What difference does it make when we can’t win with him while paying him 37 million?

We pay 37 million to lose with him and be that further away from a ring as opposed to 32 million without him and three future first round picks.

Trading Rodgers right now is the correct move.

Agreed .. if Rodgers had actually played lights out in some championship games he's have a few more super bowl appearances.  The Packers could surely do more to put themselves in a better position to win, but Aaron has had some opportunities to shine in big games and hasn't come thru.

Because we're not going to be paying him 37, we're going to be paying him 30ish.

Why not? We're not favorites, but we've probably got about an 8-12% chance of winning it. Keep rolling that dice while the odds are that high.

I will take Dallas, LAC and Arizona at those numbers very happily.
