JBURGE
Players play and coaches coach. Van Pelt decided to leave. Mike hired someone he thought he could work with and would work with Aaron. Aaron maybe could have some level of input, but Mike shouldn't feel comfortable letting a player pick his coaches. How can the new QB coach expect Aaron to take him seriously if he knows that Aaron's opinion means he could be fired? This isn't the NBA.

The new QB has to win him over... that was always going to be part of his job this coming year. He does that not by worrying about how Aaron feels but by coming to Aaron trying to earn his respect. First meeting... be like hey Aaron you’re amazing but if you did this this and this you’d be better. That would get his attention and respect ( if those suggestions are good Haha). eyecatcher
I still don't see where Aaron Rodgers was miffed. He didn't say he was miffed, he didn't sound miffed. He said it was "curious."

CWood21
In case anyone had any doubts that he lost his mind, Stephen A. Smith says that Aaron Rodgers should demand a trade because he didn't get his vote on Van Pelt. Funny stuff.
Pugger
I have a feeling it was Van Pelt who wanted out and not McCarthy so I don't know how Rodgers can have a beef with his HC. VP didn't even go for a OC job - he's now the QB coach in Cincy so it was a lateral move. Perhaps Alex felt he couldn't teach #12 any more than he already had? Rodgers was also upset with losing Tom But 2 years later said he would go to bat for Ben McAdoo (Tom’s replacement).

MacReady
I just wish people would stop bringing up what ESPN idiots say. I would literally rather listen to 99% of the people on this site talk about sports than anyone on ESPN.
Rodjahs12
The 34-year-old acknowledged Thursday in an interview with The Associated Press that he may have to play for another team like Brett Favre did at the end of his Hall-of-Fame career. Almost likes he’s saying he doesn’t have much confidence in the organization, based upon their past and current management of veteran star QB’s. Or he feels that Ball will be really reluctant to pony up the money on his next contract.
