Technically no to both. It’s covered but open air on three sides. Basically a comb over roof.

IIRC the Las Vegas Stadium has a lot of the stadium design/plans from the Carson proposal a few years ago

What was there in that land before the stadium construction began? Seems like an awful lot of property and its pretty centric, isn't it? Did they have to demolish houses, offices or something? Just curious

It was a horse racing track on a large parcel, so there was plenty of land to work with from the start

Same land Al Davis tried to build on in the early 90s.
