EaglesPeteC
Draft picks (Not doing depth charts....) CAROLINA PANTHERS 16- Clellin Ferrell EDGE Clemson Analysis: The Panthers biggest need is pass rush. They need both youth and numbers at EDGE so I sprinted to the podium to grab Ferrell, who would fit perfectly in the Panthers 4-3 scheme. 47- Hakeem Butler WR Iowa St Analysis: I wanted to go S here as I know that is a big need for the Panthers, but I have a 1st Round grade on Butler so the value was too good to pass up. Butler can be what the Panthers wanted in Kelvin Benjamin and Devin Funchess but actually...good. I big, receiver who can win those 50/50 balls and in the red zone is a great compliment in the speed WR's they have already on the roster. 77- Michael Deiter OL Wisconsin Analysis: The Panthers need an upgrade at LG and the longterm future at T is in doubt with Daryl Williams being on a one year deal and having an extensive injury history. Deiter is one of my favorite OL prospects in this draft with the versatility to play all along the offensive line and will allow the Panthers to get their best 5 on the field to protect Cam. Trade! Panthers trade pick 100 to the Packers for 114 and 150 114- David Montgomery RB Iowa St Analysis: I adore this fit for both the Panthers and Montgomery. The Panthers rode McCaffrey hard last year and he held up great but is that really sustainable longterm? The Panthers bring in Montgomery to be a high level spell back for McCaffrey. One of the biggest knocks on Montgomery is that he was such a high volume player in college that he might not hold up for long in the NFL. In this scenario, playing in Carolina with a top back like the Panthers have could extend his career and he would be the ideal compliment back for Carolina. 115- Chuma Edoga T USC Analysis: Another one of my favorite players in the draft. Edoga needs some time and polish but has all the athletic skills to be a good LT in the NFL. The Panthers dont have a true LT so grabbing Edoga and letting him develop for a year is a great scenario for them. 150- Sheldrick Redwine S Miami Analysis: Once I missed out on the 1st and 2nd Round safeties, I was content to wait until the 5th to grab Redwine. A CB/S hybrid, Redwine could compete and grow into a solid compliment to Eric Reid on the backend. 154- Dru Tranquill LB ND Analysis: The Panthers finally let Thomas Davis walk and could use a talented LB in the pipeline. If it wasn't for Tranquill's extensive injury history, he'd be a much higher pick. 187- Jimmy Moreland CB JMU- a small school CB that is worth taking a shot on in the 6th that couple be a potential slot CB CLEVELAND BROWNS 49- Juan Thornhill S UVA 80- Sean Bunting CB Central Michigan 119- Daniel Wise DT Kansas 144- Oli Udoh T Elon 155- Stanley Morgan Jr WR Nebraska 170- Justice Hill RB OKST 189- Wyatt Ray EDGE BC 221- Michael Dogbe DT Temple PHILADELPHIA EAGLES TRADE! picks 25 and 139 to the Chargers for picks 28 and 91 28- Chauncey Gardner Johnson S Florida Analysis: The Eagles desperately need both a 3rd safety and youth at the position. Chauncey Gardner Johnson is my S #1 and it was a dream to trade down, get that 3rd and still grab him. CGJ reminds me of the safety that Malcolm Jenkins turned into. He is a do it all versatile safety. He'll take over the 3rd safety role is Philly day 1, which is a huge position for them and then can transition to the starting FS in year 2 and then eventually take Malcolm Jenkins' role when he moves on. 53- Charles Omenihu DL Texas Analysis: The theme of this draft is versatility. Eagles need both depth and future at EDGE and DT, so no matter where you project Omenihu the Eagles can use him. Really I see him as a Michael Bennett type a long EDGE who can kick inside and rush from the middle. He will rotate in year 1 and will be a great running mate for Derek Barnett and hopefully Josh Sweat for years to come 57- Deebo Samuel WR SC Analysis: The plan was to grab Yodny Cadjuste who was available with this pick to be the future LT behind Jason Peters but Deebo was too great a value. Nelson Agholor is on a 1 year deal and looks to be moving on and Deebo could step right in in the slot and also has more versatility than Nelson to play on the outside as well. Carson has a long term WR who he can grow with now. 91- Darrell Henderson RB Memphis Analysis: Thrilled about that trade back even more because it netted me Henderson. Henderson's speed and pass catching ability is just perfect for Philly and is the ying to Jordan Howard's yang TRADE! the Eagles send WR Nelson Agholor to the Ravens for pick 102 102- Bobby Evans T Oklahoma Analysis: The drafting of Deebo made Nelly expendable. Getting a day 2 pick and being able to pick up Evans, who I think is a upgrade over Big V as a future LT is a great get for an expiring contract in Agholor. Evans could even scoot inside to Guard if they feel comfortable and cover for Brandon Brooks as he returns from his injury. 127- Daylon Mack DT Texas A&M Analysis: The Eagles signed Malik Jackson but what he brings in pass rush, he lacks in run stopping. What Daylon Mack brings in run stopping, he lacks in pass rush. Mack is a great compliment to Jackson here in the 4th. 163- Bobby Okereke LB Stanford Analysis: The Eagles devalue LB but really lack talent. Okereke isn't the best tackler but excels in coverage and range which is what the Eagles value most in an LB. I think the Eagles are the right fit for Okereke to hit his ceiling as a player and in the 5th could be a massive steal. 197- Hajalte Froholdt G/C Arkansas Analysis: Froholdt fits the profile of what the Eagles like in interior offensive lineman. The Eagles lost a G/C swing lineman in Stefan Wisnewski and Froholdt is a strong developmental player who could fill that role instantly. THE MASSAGE PARLOR EVIL EMPIRES Trade! 32 and 64 to Vikings for 18 18- Noah Fant TE Iowa 56- Kelvin Harmon WR NCSU 73- Jaylon Ferguson EDGE LA Tech 97- Ben Banogu EDGE/LB TCU 101- Michael Jackson CB Miami Trade! 4th Round comp pick to Bucs for DT Gerald McCoy Trade! 205 and 239 to Houston for 195 195- Tyree Jackson QB Buffalo Trade! 246 and 253 to Denver for 222 222- Anthony Ratliff Williams WR UNC 243- Edited April 25, 2019 by EaglesPeteC

Your Vikes draft is pretty Bad-***. Put in some serious work on that O-line. I still like Bryce Love too. I’d be ecstatic if my Colts took him in a mid round and let him heal up for the playoffs or 2020. Could be the steal of the draft if he’s allowed to heal properly (and doesn’t go to a horrible team)
