RB D. Henderson has been projected a day 3 pick for a while. Kind of random to see him as a possible 35 pick. Just saying. I'm actually a fan of his game.

I think there will be a run of RBs starting in the Late 2nd and Henderson is my RB2.

The way I see the Raiders optimal draft would be

@4 Q Williams or Ed Oliver - Interior DL isn't the biggest need but we go BPA and look to add our franchise cornerstone on defense... a player offensive coordinators have to gameplay against, like Mack in a sense.... I'm torn between the two players(it's a win/win).. assuming Bosa/Murray are gone, suddenly our interior DL is a problem for the league

https://www.nfl.com/prospects/ed-oliver?id=32194f4c-4929-0385-df1c-0f8e40559b5a

https://www.nfl.com/prospects/quinnen-williams?id=32195749-4c13-2672-b05d-48fefa792d12

@24  WR- Hollywood or AJ Brown- we should be happy Gruden didn't go offense in the first.... Hollywood and AJ Brown are two special players who might still be there at 24. Hollywood is compared to a young Desean Jackson, he has rare speed and he can ball. AJ Brown might be the best WR in this year class, overlooked by DK. AJ has the ceiling to be another Devante Adams/JuJu, he Is big, runs good routes, hands, playmaker.  our offensive playmakers would be a strength going into 2019, and our offense would be alot more explosive

*could also see the team trade up to the 15-20 range if a edge rusher they like is still on the board ie... Burns, Sweat, Gary

@27  DB- Thornhill, Oruwariye, GARDNER-JOHNSON, Savage, ADDERLEY, Greedy, MURPHY, YA-SIN, Love

think this is the best value to draft a DB. We need another explosive DB to add to our unit. We might go FS if Joyner plays more of a slot corner role as Gruden has talked about in press conferences. Joyner allows us to be versatile with a CB or FS BPA. Joseph is more of SS

@35- think this would be the best time to trade down to mid/late 2 for another top 50 pick. good value at TE in the 2nd

Irv Smith(could drop), WARRING, KNOX, STERNBERGER

Then Day 3 go BPA at

  • DE, LB, DB (corner or safety based on what we do in the 1st).. We can agree we could get faster/more athletic/deeper on defense......

Optimal Draft

4) Q Williams DT

24) AJ Brown WR

27) Savage S

2nd) Warrening TE

3rd) Bryce Love RB

4th) Dru Samia G

5-7 BPA Defense DE, LB, CB/S

I would not be shocked if with Pick 27 or 35 the Raiders went Will Grier or Ryan Finley. This forum probably wouldn’t like it. Both are excellent QBs for a WCO though and super cheap.

Amazingly, Carr is only 3 years older than Finley.

I can't see it. If we don't land Murray maybe a developmental backup later on but we already have Glennon, Jones, and Peterman in the QB room battling for the #2 spot. Plus we have two first round picks next year so if Carr doesn't improve with a stronger supporting cast we have the capital to go get our guy.

Only one of those guys is making the roster. Plus drafting a guy at 27/35 let’s them sit behind Carr a year before we move on. And we wouldn’t have to blow a 1st on a QB next year.

Not saying I agree with it, just saying it’s possible and I could see it.

I think Hollywood Brown really is in play at 27 and 35. JJ Nelson and Ryan Grant are depth, those guys are certainly not #3 caliber WR’s. We need a slot WR/deep threat. Hollywood eats yards as fast as any player I have ever seen personally. His wiggle is also deadly.

He works the slot well and can also take the top off. The consensus is to replace Cook with Fant. Hollywood would make us better than Fant would in my opinion. Get a TE later in the 4th, 5th, or even 6th.

Antonio - Underneath

Tyrell- Outside

Hollywood - Taking the top off

Good luck.

Also this could be AB being AB but when he first became a Raider he said Hollywood to Oakland is already a done deal and then said oops I wasn’t suppose to say that. I wouldn’t think too much into it but Hollywood is certainly in play.
