Going to adopt the "1st choice, 2nd choice, 3rd choice" method. Meaning your first choice is worth 3 points, 2nd is worth 2, and 3rd is worth 1. Please do not select the same player multiple times in one selection. If you do, only the highest value will be taken for that and the lower duplicate votes will be discounted.

1. Arizona Cardinals: Kyler Murray, QB - Oklahoma

2. San Francisco 49ers: Nick Bosa, EDGE - Ohio State

More options will be added in later picks. If after 20+ votes the selection is clearly one person as the favorite we will move on to the next pick. Otherwise It will be ~24 hours before the poll closes. If there are 2/3 options that are close, there will be a runoff. This is who you think they WILL pick, not who they SHOULD pick.

I don't hate this board - would have loved Lawrence though.

1) AJ Brown

I think they will pick a WR early if the value is there. I expected Brown to be picked way before this.

2) Greg Little

I think Dante would make him a Pro Bowler.

3) Chris Lindstrom.

swing OT and elite OG

Exactly what I did, but I almost went with Little first. I'm strongly considering OL early. Too many questions after Brown's departure, Wynn's injury, Cannon's age and injuries, Thuney's contract next year, lack of a swing tackle, etc.

AJ Brown could feast over the middle, though. If we could snag him here, then I'd trade up for Butler, which would give us a big slot and a prototypical X. Great potential for them to develop behind Edelman and Gordon/Thomas, respectively (although Edelman is more of a Z than a pure slot).

Realistically, we'll probably try to trade down and push picks into next year so we had ammo to go up and get a QB in 2020. I like a ton of the 2nd round DB and WR talent, so there's a lot of value there if we miss out on a top DL or TE, which would be ideal at this spot if available -- imagine Dexter Lawrence on that line, or Noah Fant running the seam? Exciting stuff!

Dre Mont Jones. .......but move up all day. They just missed on everyone.

I've gone back and forth on DreMont Jones once but I like the fit in New England given their connections with Belichick to Urban Meyer and the Patriots history in the first selecting Dominique Easley. I think Jones is underrated at this point and highly deserving of a first round selection. If he were the choice at 32 by the Pats I would be satisfied.

Definitely Greg Little or Kaleb McGary imo.

They have question marks at LT. Wynn is unproven and coming off an injury. Cannon is older/injury prone/not cheap. Thuney is going to be a free agent.

That way, they have two LT options - Little and Wynn. If Scar coaches up Little, Wynn can play LG, and they can let Thuney walk.

All of that said, this is as close to an obvious trade down board as you'll get to me. Ideally you look for a team desperate to pick a QB with a 5th year option and harvest some draft picks for the trouble.

What makes him highly deserving as a 1st? He gets washed out in the run game on film, turned up at the combine vastly underweight and tested out as a very poor athlete. I can’t think of anyone less appealing to the Patriots than Jones.
