vshank8182 Posted April 23, 2019 Share Posted April 23, 2019 Arizona Cardinals- Kyler Murray (Oklahoma) QB- Lets not start this thing off too cute, everything the Cardinals are saying or not saying are leading towards them selling out early on Rosen and take Murray, the uber talented multi sport star, to revamp their franchise with Kliff Kingsbury at the helm. San Francisco 49ers- Nick Bosa (Ohio State) DE- The 49ers grab who they believe is the most talented player in the draft and a guy with a pedigree who is more then just the brother of Joey Bosa. Nick has off the charts skills in the run/pass game and has the potential to be a force in the NFL for years to come. New York Jets- Josh Allen (Kentucky) OLB/DE- Williams or Oliver will be very tempting for the Jets here as well as a trade down but if the Jets stay put, Allen will be a very welcome addition to the big apple as they need an edge rusher but Allen is way more then just a need selection as his 17 sacks showed last year. Oakland Raiders- Quinnen Williams (Alabama) DT- Williams is an absolute beast and is a perfect fit for the Raiders who are devoid of talent. Even though he only started for one year at Alabama he showed scouts and fans a like the immense amount of damage that he can cause for any offense he lines up against. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Devin White (LSU) LB- With Kwon Alexander departing in free agency and Todd Bowels now in the fold on the defensive side of the ball, the Bucs decide to grab White who is an absolute stud linebacker and can step in from day 1 to be the quarterback of this defense with speed/strength/intelligence all at elite levels. New York Giants- Ed Oliver (Houston) DT- Dave Gettlemen is an extremely hard man to read and through all the talk from him/Shurmur I have no clue what they will do! After passing on quarterbacks last year in the top of the first round, I see that giants doing that again and grabbing Oliver who is a rare talent even with not ideal size for a defensive tackle. Oliver if put in the right places will be a favorite of Giants fans for years. Jacksonville Jaguars- TJ Hockenson (Iowa) TE- The Jaguars are going all in on Nick Foles and tight ends have been a big part of Foles success over his tenure with the Eagles and Hockenson has all the tools to be a Zach Ertz level playmaker at the next level. The Jaguars will be tempting to fill other needs but they take the safe route and help out their new franchise quarterback. Detroit Lions- Jonah Williams (Alabama) OL- The Lions could go a lot of different ways to go with this pick and Sweat is very tempting but with the heart issues they decide to pass and grab the top offensive line prospect in the draft Jonah Williams. Williams may start as a guard but eventually can slide out to right tackle and keeping Stafford healthy along with providing holes for Johnson gets answered with this selection. Buffalo Bills- Andre Dillard (Washington State) OL- This may surprise a few people here with the Bills answering a lot of holes on the offensive line in free agency but they are still missing a true top notch blindside protector and they will hope that Dillard can be that man. Dillard only gave up one sack in 2018 and with some more polish added on at the next level, Andre can grow and protect Josh Allen for both of their respective careers. Denver Broncos- Devin Bush (Michigan) LB- We all know Joe Flacco is not the long term answer at quarterback and either Haskins/Lock makes a ton of sense here but I do not see them addressing that need with this pick and give Vic Fangio a fun piece to play with. Bush is not getting the same hype as Devin White but you can make a strong argument that he's the better prospect. Two-time Butkus Award Finalist, Bush brings a rare combination of size and speed, the enforcing mentality that can change the personality of a defense. Cincinnati Bengals- Jawaan Taylor (Florida) OT- Bengals look to solidify the OL with this pick, and add Taylor to the mix to nail down RT with Cordy Glenn manning the left side. With the Billy Price pick from last year, you have the makings of a good unit upfront in Cinci, giving Zac Taylor a fair shot to set up his offense with Dalton entrenched under center. Green Bay Packers- Montez Sweat (Mississippi State) EDGE - Arguably no one has helped himself more than Sweat in the pre-draft process ... until the heart check-in. Outperforming expectations at the Senior Bowl and then putting together one of the most impressive Combine performances ever. Sweat has arguably been the top edge rusher in over the past two seasons in the SEC. Top 10 talent ... Packers vow to keep a defibrillator on the sideline and grab so much value here. Miami Dolphins- Dwayne Haskins (Ohio State) QB - Rebuild on. The Fins have needs all over the gridiron, but in this scenario they get their pick of the QBs not named Kyler and pounce on the opportunity. Haskins had an unbelievable year last year - 70% completion rate and 50 TDs - and has arm talent for days. I wouldn't call Haskins NFL-ready quite yet, as he can have sloppy footwork that translates to inconsistent ball placement. No doubt Miami will be calling for him to play, but the longer he can sit and learn the better. Atlanta Falcons- Dexter Lawrence (Clemson) DT - Falcons have their pick of some really strong defensive players at this spot, and they grab Lawrence to change their defense with this selection. His mere presence - 6'4, 342 pounds - will require double teams, and will open up a defense that sorely needs this sort of talent. Washington Redskins- Drew Locke (Missouri) QB - Assuming the 'Skins don't trade for Rosen - they grab their guy here at 15. Locke has an NFL ready arm right now - he can make all the throws, and has an absolute gun. Reminiscent of Matt Stafford, a former #1 overall pick, Lock needs to hone in on consistency. He'll have his growing pains, but is set up to start right away for Washington. Carolina Panthers- Clelin Ferrell (Clemson) EDGE - Team-leading force since 2016 - 27.5 sacks and 50 TFLs. Certainly a lot of talent on that Clemson line, but Ferrell has a motor that you just can't teach, as the amount of hustle plays he made was absurd. Ron Rivera will certainly take notice, as Ferrell could easily go earlier. New York Giants- Byron Murphy (Washington) CB - The GMEN continue to kick the QB can down the road and grab the Washington corner here. If there's one word for Murphy, it's reliability. Body control and balance, he's got some fluidity traits on the football field that you just can't teach. CB isn't a position that is being talked about a ton for the GMEN, but a run on other positions give the Giants a really nice opportunity to grab their pick. Murphy can pair with Janoris Jenkins and supplemental pick Beal to offer a serviceable secondary, and the Giants bolster a defense seriously devoid of talent with both Oliver and now Murphy. Minnesota Vikings- Christian Wilkins (Clemson) DT - The Vikes have some glaring holes on the OL, but a run on the top-tier tackles turns their eye to "Best Player Available" and Wilkins is screaming value here. Zimmer can barely contain himself and punches this selection quickly. One of the best defenders in Clemson school history, kid was flat out dominant as a freshman back in 2015. Three time All-American, two-time Nagurski Award finalist, I think this area is Wilkins' floor. Vikes with a heck of a get here. Tennessee Titans- Rashaan Gary (Michigan) DE/DT - Gary was a blue-chip recruit who was ready for the NFL years ago, and if the draft was based purely on physical measurable and the weight room you're looking at a top ten, maybe even a top five talent. But the tape just leaves you wanting more. 19 is an area that makes a lot of sense for Gary, as that boom-bust label makes a lot more sense here than in the top 10. Titans could use some DL talent too, so this is a nice combo of need and player Pittsburgh Steelers- AJ Brown (Ole Miss) WR - Steelers have a nice opportunity to grab their WR of choice and nab Brown here. Brown is a pretty jacked up and fluid 6'0 WR, and should be a menace in the slot for years to come. I think this is a heck of a spot for the youngster, with a very complementary skillset to Juju and Roethlisberger doesn't have to miss a beat with his potential targets in Steel City. Seattle Seahawks- Brian Burns (Florida State University) DE - The Seahawks could use some help on their defensive line. Burns has ridiculous upside and immense talent. Burns shut down the talks of his size at the combine and will make in impact for years to come in the league. Watch out people! Baltimore Ravens-Garret Bradbury (NC State) OL - With the heavy run first approach the Ravens look to bolster the offensive line, especially the interior. Bradbury is one of the top talents at his position in the draft and can be plugged in from day one. Houston Texans- Cody Ford (Oklahoma) OL - Houston needs to keep their franchise quarterback safe. They were at the bottom of the league when it came to giving up sacks. Ford is a versatile athlete who can provide help in the run and pass game and play either guard or tackle. Oakland Raiders- Greedy Williams (LSU) CB - Oakland looks to bolster their secondary with this pick. Greedy is arguable the best CB in this draft and would be a steal for the Raiders at this spot. He is phenomenal in coverage with his size and quickness. He needs to work on his tackling abilities but he can develop into one of the top corners in the future. Philadelphia Eagles - Nasir Adderley (Delaware) S - The Eagles were at the bottom of the league when it came to pass yards allowed per game. Nasir is a great athlete who can cover a lot of ground in the secondary. He will fit well into this Eagles secondary. Indianapolis Colts - D.K. Metcalf (Ole Miss) WR - The Colts add a dynamic player who can make plays down the field across from Hilton. They have some other needs on defense but they can't pass on a talent like Metcalf. If healthy, he will take this Colts offense to another level. Oakland Raiders - Josh Jacobs (Alabama) RB - After selecting two defense stars with the first two picks, the Raiders draft the best overall RB in the draft. Jacobs is built to plow over defenders who try and tackle him. He can make the blocks needed to succeed in the league as well. He is going to be a special player on a Raiders team that desperately needs help in the run game. Los Angeles Chargers - Chris Lindstrom (Boston College) OL - Lindstrom is a smaller lineman but has phenomenal feet quickness. Lindstrom is a great fit for this Chargers team that could use some help with run blocking and pass protection. Kansas City Chiefs- Rock Ya-Sin (Temple) CB - Rock did not have a long college career at Temple, but the talent is undeniable. He is a freak athlete who can do it all. He can cover man to man, help in run support and has great speed and hand skills. This is a great addition for the Chiefs at this spot. Green Bay Packers - Dalton Risner (Kansas State) OL - The Packers have spent a lot to beef up their defensive line this offseason. Needing to address the offensive line depth they take one of the top lineman in the class. Rodgers took more hits than the Packers would like moving forward. Risner can step in there and move some bodies. Los Angeles Rams - Jerry Tillery (Notre Dame) DL - Tillery is constantly disrupting the pass game of any opponent. He has the raw strength and explosiveness to succeed at the next level. Put him along side Donald and Fowler and you have a defense that will dominate weekly. New England Patriots - Dre-Mont Jones (Ohio State) DL - All the talk is about Gronk leaving and the Pats needing a new TE. This is true but they can grab one later. A more glaring need is on the defensive side of the ball where they lost a few guys. Jones is a unique combination of size and quickness. He has a relentless motor that helps him to win many battles. I like Wilkins but we're not in dire need of OT's we need help on the iOL. Would prefer a small trade down to get him at better value but won't be mad at 14 because i think he is that good. You failed to address the Raiders #1 need. You Selected no edge rusher Gruden and MM will pick and Edge Rusher we do not need a RB in Round 1.
