oksteeler
I don't claim to be an expert, so your opinions won't hurt my feelings. I am not including the last two picks, as I am assuming they are used in late round trade ups. It would seem more prudent to make the most of these picks and bring in UDFAs to compete. 1) Ferrell - pass rush specialist, future starter 2) Hakeem Butler - instant starter in 3 receiver sets 3) Mack Wilson - rotational, future starter 3b) David Montgomery - if you have watched as much film on this man as I have, you will know that he is literally beast mode 2.0 perfect second back, similar to Bettis 4) Isaiah Johnson - tall and fast corner, doesn't have to start this year but should be ready to be #2 corner next year 5) Bobby Evans - excellent OT that has good feet, tall and strong frame and loves to run block, can be the backup swing tackle now 6) Lil Jordan Humphrey - I hate Texas but this guy is special and he has the right frame and good speed, needs development, would be the last wr on our roster 6) Treveon Wesco - ready to be on the field right away, receiving threat and a good blocker I still wasn't able to also find the picks to get another DL or S. But this is what happens every year. No draft seems to offer enough high picks to fill every weakness on the team. This one leaves us with a lot of answers for now and for the coming years, along with impact players that should immediately effect our 2019-2020 win total. thoughts? MOSteelers56
If Butler and Wilson slide to us with our 2nd and 3rd, I'd be through the roof. I also love Ferrell. I doubt any of them slide to our picks, though.
oksteeler
I can definitely see where you're coming from. Personally, I don't think all of them will fall to us. Ferrell probably will because of the run on quarterbacks. Butler is a 50/50 because he could actually be the 4-5 wr off the board, Wilson could slide to the third, but will probably require us trading up in the third to get him. VigilantZombie
While i am not a Mack Wilson fan...if this was our draft class, hell yes! Mack in R3 is good value, Hakeem Butler is 1 of 3 WRs i prefer out of this class (AJ Brown, Miles Boykin) Ferrell isnt my top pass rusher but i like him. I give this an A.
