He’s actually been throwing well too and drawing rave reviews so far in OTAs. The thought of pairing an athlete like Jones with Barkley is exciting. I expect we’ll see lot of RPO, play action, boot legs. Shula coached Cam Newton, so he’ll know how to utilize Jones’ athleticism.

Kiwibrown
Athlete talk starts sub 4.7 for a big guy. 4.8 is nice, but that is de speed not linebacker or db speed.

Athleticism wise, Alex Smith and Tannehill are good comparisons

NateDawg
As an athlete, he is probably closer to Joshua Allen at quarterback minus the cannon for an arm and size. Allen was a shade under 4.8 at the combine and Buffalo used his legs a bit. He isn’t big enough or fast enough to center the offense around running around like Cam Newton in Carolina. I can definitely see them trying to incorporate some Carson Wentz type of tendencies though as far as moving around within the pocket.
