paul-mac
1 (10): Devin Bush, ILB, Michigan With Hockenson off the board it seems the smart money is on Bush to be the pick here. 2 (41): Erik McCoy, OL, Texas A&M Plug and play C, allows McGovern to move back to his more natural RG spot. ***Trade Chris Harris to Houston Texans for 55 and 2020 3rd round pick*** 2 (55): Kelvin Harmon, WR, NC State Cover in case Sanders struggles to get back from injury. 3 (71) Gerald Willis III, DL, Miami (FL) Still not convinced Gotsis and Walker won't both be busts. 4 (125): Ryan Finley, QB, NC State Need an upgrade at the backup QB. 5 (148): Kendell Sheffield, CB, Ohio State Can never have enough corners. ***Trade 156 for 2020 4th round pick*** 6 (182): Wyatt Ray, EDGE, Boston College Need a 4 man edge rotation. 7 (237): Preston Williams, WR, Colorado State Fight for a roster spot at WR. French Fan
Interesting mock. I doubt Denver choose a WR in 2nd round. They have more needs. I see a TE between the 3rd and 5th round. Knox or Warring. If Risner is there at the end of 1st round possible to trade the 2nd round to get back and take him
Broncofan
I agree with the structure completely. Well thought out. I think Elway would explore different options at the WR/QB spot. I think it’s more likely we see Elway go after a QB he’s brought in or interviewed - Thorson, Rypien or Stidham. Stidham is the one guy I am leery about. But they all have flaws why they are profiling as backups. WR I see going into a more sudden / quick twitch guy. If we spend a 2nd rounder a guy like Parris Campbell fits. I also agree we are going TE for sure somewhere in the draft. Knox or Moreau, Sternberger if pure move TE is the target. Think Bush/McCoy has real legs to be our 1-2 combo so long as Elway resists going after Lock. If Risner still available at 2.11 I’d see him going ahead of McCoy but no issues with McCoy. Fingers crossed. Edited April 25, 2019 by Broncofan

paul-mac
Your first two trades seem too optimistic in terms of what we’d get, especially the trade with the Panthers
