How have the Patriots players/staff been involved is so much controversy on 3-4 different occasions but no substantial punishment has ever came out of it

This is among the dumbest thing ever. Spygate and deflategate both were some of the steepest punishments in NFL history. Spygate at the time was the largest fine a team ever received and it was essentially based on filming from a non designated area. Deflategate, well the NFL upped the punishment from Spygate financially, took away draft picks, and despite admitting in court that they had no direct evidence on Brady, they suspended him anyways.

And it's very telling who is liking your comment what company you are in

Its only the dumbest think every because your a Pats apologist. What the hell is a monetary fine to a football team/owner worth multi-billions. They had multiple seperate incidents, some of the shadiest in NFL history, were repeat offenders and were given the financial equivalent of a speeding ticket to Robert Kraft. BB was fined $500k and Kraft was fined $250k. They fined a guy with the net worth of 6.6 BILLION only 250k. That is like making somebody who makes 50k per year pay a $25 late fee for not paying rent on time.

In addition, do we really know if they paid the fine?

The thought process behind that fake punt play the Colts ran against the Pats a few years ago

McAfee explained this on a radio show. They were trying to catch the Pats with too many men and snap the ball to get a first down on 4th and short. The person who was supposed to be the center on the trick play had gotten hurt so his replacement wasn't aware that the ball was never supposed to be snapped as plan b was take the delay and punt.

Actually, 250,000/6.6 billion is 0.0000378%, which is $1.89 of $50,000.

What's even more funny is when you consider how much of the $50K is tied up in needs like housing, food, healthcare, etc. That fine to Kraft was in the "keep the change because I don't feel like carrying coins around" range.
