As good as Stingley is, I don’t see a CB going #1 overall. Slovis, maybe. Don’t know if he had the physical tools.

True it would not be common seeing a CB getting picked #1 overall.  But in terms of how rare an athlete is, based on freshman season alone Stingley is better than Thibodeaux as a player long term.  PS just watching Thibodeaux last year, to me he is not a Clowney, Mario Williams or Myles Garrett type of talent but will see.    If one goes standard QB Slovis has elite ability and arguably the most elite ability of any true FR QB last year.  Still a ton of projection at this point.

Yeah, I don’t know if he has that type of body like those guys but he had a pretty amazing freshman year.

True but I could give a rats *** about what PFF says.  Also like I said Rousseau was a better player last year than Thibodeaux but is not a true FR was a RS FR so out of such a list.  But in terms of true FR Karlaftis, Drake Jackson were his only other competition and he did out play those two, Zach Harrison also but he did not see the field enough to get stats.  He has a ton of potential no doubt, just not sure he is an elite level Clowney type prospect yet.

Yea, speaking of body type, he looks really slight there.

I agree, he is slight no question about it.  Will see if he can get a little bigger but if he ends up being a 3/4 OLB it should not matter much at that weight, down 4/3 DE that is a different story.
