Didn't know McDonaugh had a movie coming out, i'll need to check that out for sure.

I grew up on Star Wars (Return of the Jedi was the first movie I ever saw in theaters) so a new Star Wars will always be special for me.

Thor: Ragnarok looks like it will be a lot of fun

Hugh Jackman shines in musicals, and The Greatest Showman looks good all around

Kingsman: The Golden Circle looks like a solid continuation of the first, which was a blast

Hoping Justice League isn't a disaster, but I have my doubts

Agreed. He's two for two so far, and there's no reason to think this wont be great as well.

bruges & seven psychopaths both in my top 5 of all time probably. you saw that little short movie he made called six shooter? that was solid too. it's on youtube if you haven't.

There are actually a lot of dramas and more independent types of movies coming out soon that I'm remotely interested in watching.  MUCH higher than I can remember over the past 3-4 years.

Three Billboards, The Disaster Artist, Paul Thomas Anderson’s movie, Downsizing… They’re all movies I’m really anticipating.  I’m really excited for Payne’s first foray into non-drama/dramedy since Downsizing obviously has a bit of science fiction to it.  I’m also definitely looking forward to the GOAT’s best shot at an Oscar since Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy with Darkest Hour.  He doesn’t win for that and I’m rioting.

Other than those types, I don’t know if IT is fourth quarter, but that one.  Star Wars obviously… Lots and lots of good movies coming out soon.

Im looking forward to most of the ones already listed, but it is always funny to me that PTA's new movie is scheduled to come out in less than 4 months, we dont even have a title at this point (is is Phantom Tread?), but because its PTA and DDL's last movie everyone is already creaming themselves over it. I really do hope its great, but even if it ends up being average, no one will admit it (which is always funny to me that people wont do it for these prestige films, but are always ready to dump all over every other genre)

As for others I want to see, Im love a good murder mystery, and Im really hoping with the cast they have that they have done something fun with the Murder on the Orient Express remake.Blade Runner 2049 has all the potential of great sci-fi. Excited to see Jackie Chan in The Foreigner, seems like a simple but exciting film. I hope they nailed the IT remake. Suburbicon looks really fun. And I am always a sucker for some trashy cinema, which is why Ill see American Made and American Assassin.

What about his brother? Calvary was a top 3 movie of 2014, and The Guard was damn good as well. I didnt see his movie from last year. It looked like it had bad reviews all around.

If I had to guess without see any movies, Id say the favorites for best actor are Oldman(Darkest Hour), Franco(Disaster Artist), Jackman(The Greatest Showman), DDL(PTA Movie), and Bardem(Mother).
