There's also a question of fit - the belief is that Oliver was just a better fit in Williams' defense than QW is. There's talk now that Williams may end up on an edge, which is less than ideal, but whatever. To me they got arguably the best player in the draft, and as much as I liked Allen, I think that there is a drop off from one to the other.
