Problem with my Xbox One S

Hey guys, just a quick one.

Last week I had the Xbox on and it shut itself off. I did the normal thing of turning it back on and the green light came on but it seemed like there was not enough power to start the console and it just went off.

I went online and tried troubleshooting it but to no avail.

Has this happened to anyone else and did you figure out the problem?

Thanks in advance

Maybe try a new power cable?  Try borrowing a friend's cable and see if it works.

Have you tried another power adaptor/cable?

Also try turning the switch on and off.

Could be the power supply in which I'd say if another power adaptor doesn't work, try taking it to whoever your warranty would be with.

I have bought another cable and tried it in different rooms etc (different plugs).

It doesn’t help as it’s just not powering on, and just dies after maybe three/four seconds.

Yeah that sounds like the internal power supply, hope there's no damage but I'd take it to whoever your warranty is with (and if not there should be a local repair place that can set it up for you)
