Only in terms of volume.

Otherwise, his per touch was higher as a #2.

I still view him as a complementary back

Yes, just like every other running back, his efficiency numbers dropped with increased volume and responsibilities.

Exactly.  Read the quote to which I responded.

I'll save you the reading.
It said that he was better in the full time role.
But, those numbers only reflected volume, not efficiency.

My point was that he's best in a smaller role.

He only had 37 touches from scrimmage in his sophomore year, and 27 as a freshman.  I don’t think that’s a big enough sample size to prove much about him.

Assuming it is, he averaged 6 yards per touch as a sophomore and 5.8 as a junior.  Considering he was on the field for short yardage situations as a junior, I would expect a bigger difference.

If you are talking about some advanced efficiency stats, I’ll take your word for it.

Nothing official.

Image result for saquon barkley

Refuses to step out of that shadow. Now the comparisons will never cease. Should have took 25.

To be fair, there aren't many RB numbers available right now.

25, 26, or 39 right now are the only ones available. 25 is Shady's number, and Sanders is from the Pitt area so he probably was quite familiar with LeSean.

39 just ain't a shifty backs number. That's for a power back.

I hope he takes 28 when we eventually cut Smallwood.

I like 40 for RB's, like a .40 cal bullet.

.40 cal bullet is my favorite handgun round. I always thought it made sense as a # for an RB that can do some damage to a defense. Same for 45. or 38.

Just not aesthetically pleasing. 20-37 are only acceptable numbers for a RB.

20-29, 36, 38, 40, 45 are the only good RB #s. 36 would suck if not for Westy. 38, 40, 45 are good RB #'s for RB's that can bring the boom or bullet through the line like Darrell Henderson.

Never cared for him outside of fantasy. He was great, I just personally never gave 2 poops about him. Probably because he wore # 37.
