Surprising, but I get it.

Frederick isn't a guarantee.
Collins is a FA after this season.
Smith hasn't played an entire season 3 years running.

This isn't a bad move at all, but I'm prepared for a minor meltdown.

I like McGovern. Had him as a 2nd round pick. Guy has that flex ability that Dallas loves from its players.

He gives us depth for this year and a probable starter depending on what we do with Collins in 2020.

Like the value for McGovern.  I wonder if he will take over at LG next year and we put Williams at RT after we let Collins go.  Because it doesn't make sense position wise otherwise since you don't rotate OL in and out of the lineup like other positions.

Wow, the Cowboys have spent 2 picks and added fewer than 500 snaps to 2019. I guess they feel good about the team as is, and hedging for the players they will lose in 2020.

This makes me think Byron will be around in 2020.

Pick makes complete sense to me if that's the case.  Did not even think about that honestly before the pick.

Better RAS than Connor Williams and same as Brandon Scherff

We got a good one.
