I doubt that because of competition.
BayRaider
Crosby and Key are depth and rotational pass rushers. If you think otherwise you are just looking too deep into it. However, once we get a 3 down starter opposite Ferrell, Crosby and Key is A+ depth. Hopefully we add another EDGE in the 1st next year. It’ll either be EDGE and ILB or EDGE and QB depending on Carr. One more year in college he would easily be 270 and considerably stronger. Did 18 bench reps so he’s not a complete weakling Hopefully, he can be a solid rotational end for us. Would love to see us add Chase Young in the draft next year. Young/Ferrell with Crosby/Key rotating in would be fun.

He’s a tweener hybrid lb/de I’m thinking the staff wants him to focus more on dline at his pro day he did dline, lb and even db drills. The dude has game. If he was at Florida st and put up the same production he’d be a 1st rounder this year imo

Based on what Mayock said to him it seems like the plan is to get him in the weight room nonstop to bulk up. Probably not a big contributor this season but if he can add weight/strength he can be a good player here.

reddevil
Watching Crosby, what impressed me is how good a finisher he is. Don't know if it's due to the lesser level of QB or RB he faced and if it will translate, but once he gets close to striking distance he seems to get the hit or impact the ball really quickly. He raises those big, gangly arms, becomes really big and closes on his target real fast. It's something that a lot of defenders seem to lack - Key for example or Lamar Houston (who was awful at this), players who get close but don't finish the job. When Crosby get into a position to make a play he seems to do this with regularity and at times make it look easy. Again, doesn't mean he will be able to do it in the pros, but this seemed like a real strength of his.

BayRaider
Ten pressures against the Chargers. Wow. I can’t remember a ten pressure game by even Mack. If he can add ten pounds of solid muscle and keep his bend, speed, and agility, we may have lucked into a Mid Round high productive starter.
