One thing to note is that Stidham won't have the aid of Jerry Schuplinski, who moved on to the Dolphins. My understanding is Jerry was always the one acting as the QB coach for the younger guys. Nice one bro. How can you tell when a QB isn't asked to make NFL reads? What would be an example of an NFL read vs non-NFL read?

A lot of colleges just make the QB look to one or two targets and then throw on basically every play, instead of having to scan the full field or play more complex NFL defensive schemes.

OK. So, on a stick for example - he'd just be looking to see if the LB follows the flat (then throw stick) or if he guards the stick (then throw flat)? I asume NE's scheme is pretty complex
