Penny Hart could make the roster no doubt I feel, especially their need for WRs.  Jamal Peters has size and ability at corner, a little inconsistent but worth a look and Hentges is a good blocking TE no question and really can get after it, he could make the roster also.  Tanner Farmer is a good looking athlete on the OL, sure that is why he was brought in for a look.

Raiders:

  • Te'von Coney, LB, Notre Dame
  • Andre James, OL, UCLA
  • Dylan Mabin, CB, Fordham
  • Alec Ingold, FB, Wisconsin
  • Lester Cotton, OL, Alabama
  • Koa Farmer, LB, Penn State
  • Keelan Doss, WR, UC Davis
  • Keisean Nixon, CB, South Carolina
  • Ronald Ollie, DT, Raiders

Very happy with Coney and Doss. Coney has a really good shot at cracking the 53. Doss has an uphill battle.

Great article about the underclassmen that declared and went undrafted.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001028642/article/2019-nfl-draft-30-underclassmen-go-unselected

Youhanna Ghaifan, DT, Wyoming declared, I did not know that I thought he was returning as a RS JR but did graduate.  Surprised he was not picked up and not sure he has been signed as a UDFA.   14 of the prospects did graduate at least, 30 did not, 6 more were eligible without the need for special eligibility, I assume those 6 also graduated but not totally sure on that.  Still too bad but is nothing new, I suppose if you graduate and do not want to be a grad transfer why not, but also why not stay and start your graduate degree and also play football at your current school or transfer to another.

They could have anyone be able to come out and if they do not get drafted return to school but then all of college football would be declaring for the draft as a JR or RS SOPH.  It is something that is not going away, is odd the include RS JR players who graduated as a underclassman.  Maybe clearing that up and going off what they are academically across the board would be best but doubt that especially with the freshman RS rules now being that they can play in four games and still get a RS.

I still can't believe he wasn't drafted.  I'll be shocked if he doesn't make yall's roster.

It’s one of the deeper WR groups in the league.

Allen Robinson

Anthony Miller

Taylor Gabriel

Riley Ridley

Cordarelle Patterson

Seems like he will compete with last years 7th round pick Javon Wims but needless to say he’ll have a good shot.
