I know a lot of fans don't like him, and while he may not be worth the contract we gave him, he's still a good player and a leader on the defense. I agree he is still a good player, I believe most have issues with his pay vs his actual production. It seems like his time is coming to an end sooner or later unless he takes a pay cut. Would it be worth losing someone younger and with potential for potentially 1 more year of Crawford?

Nextyearfordaboyz
If we can get them to the practice squad, then I am all for it, but letting go of Mike Jackson and Daniel Wise worries me. I think they will find a way to keep them on the roster.

matt79511
I would be so disappointed if we cut Armstrong. I give our FO the benefit of the doubt, but I like to think he is a strong candidate to start at RDE in 2020.

J Shank
So, this is nearly a complete copypasta of Texas Outlaw's 53. I am not really making a 'prediction', rather, this is what I would like to see. A main distinction is the use of some position flex to give depth so we can keep the best players. For instance, I have George Iloka flexing to backup LB if needed - he played a hybrid LB role last year... we play 2 LBs most of the time, anyways. I have 2 different options at the RB position based on Zeke's status: With Zeke I am looking more at role players and long-term value. Without Zeke I am looking at a committee back field, where Alfred Morris's vet experience is more valuable, and Chunn being a bruiser is more valuable. I dropped DT Ross for DT Wise, mostly based on youth and ceiling. And I think Dorance Armstrong is a sure-thing to make the 53-man. I think having a bunch of high-end depth to rotate on the DL is an incredible value so I tried to preserve/maintain that. I also thought that the versatility of our secondary could be utilized. I dropped Goodwin, but kept Kavon for ST Offense: 24 QB - 2 Dake Prescott | Cooper Rush RB - 3 Ezekiel Elliot | Tony Pollard | Mike Weber [ With Zeke ] Tony Pollard I Alfred Morris I Jordan Chunn [ Without Zeke ] FB - 1 Jamize Olawale WR - 6 Amari Cooper | Michael Gallup | Randall Cobb | Tavon Austin | Cedrick Wilson | Devin Smith TE - 3 Jason Witten | Blake Jarwin | Dalton Schultz LT - 2 Tyron Smith | Cameron Flemming LG - 2 Connor Williams | Xavier Su'a-Filo OC - 2 Travis Frederick | Joe Looney RG - 2 Zack Martin | Adam Redmond RT - 1 La'el Collins Defense: 26 LE - 2 DeMarcus Lawrence I Dorance Armstrong | Joe Jackson 1T - 3 Antwaun Woods | Christian Covington 3T - 2 Maliek Collins | Trysten Hill I Daniel Wise RE - 3 Tyrone Crawford | Kerry Hyder | Taco Charlton SAM - 2 Sean Lee | (FLEX: George Iloka) MLB - 2 Jaylon Smith | Joe Thomas WLB - 2 Leighton Vander Esch | Justin Phillips CB - 6 Byron Jones | Chidobe Awuzie | Anthony Brown | Jourdan Lewis | Donovan Olumba S - 4 Xavier Woods | Kavon Frazier I George Iloka | Jeff Heath | Donovan Wilson Special Teams: 3 K - 1 Brett Maher P - 1 Chris Jones LS - 1 LP KR Tavon Austin | Tony Pollard | Jourdan Lewis PR Tavon Austin | Tony Pollard | Jourdan Lewis Practice Squad: Chris Westry, DB Mitch Hyatt, OL Ricky Walters, DL Jon'Vea Johnson, WR Jalen Guyton, WR Jalen Jelks, DL Michael Jackson, DB Taryn Christion, QB Nate Hall, LB Suspended / IR / PUP: Randy Gregory, DE (SUS) Robert Quinn, DE (SUS) Connor McGovern , OL (IR) Luke Gifford , LB (IR) Noah Brown, WR (PUP)
eagles suck
I see many people think tha Noah Brown will be put on the PUP list. Im really just willing to release him. I can also see the idea of Crawford being traded. Did we see enough from Christian Covington to keep him? I am dreading to lose any of these LB's. March Lillard is very solid and so are all of these younger guy's Edited August 30, 2019 by eagles suck
WizardHawk
Didn't Wise have 5-6 tkls and 2 sacks last night? I don't think Dallas is letting him go and if they do, I see no way he makes it back around to the PS. At this point, I don't believe Mike Weber has shown anything that merits a roster spot. No point in releasing him until he has to come off of it, at which point several of Cobb, Austin, Smith and Wilson might be hurt if not IR’d

Forge
What can you guys tell me about Donovan Olumba? I'm kind of intrigued by him as a good pick up for the 49ers.
