^Meh...

I'd rather take the BPA than reaching on a WR like Jefferson. I don't love Chaisson, but they should definitely consider him if he's there at 21.

I'll take Mims and Reagor over Chaisson. I'll take YGM over Chaisson.

But Chaisson is a third round prospect. No way you can tell me, in any scenario, that's he's BPA at 21.

And it annoys me when anyone suggest LB in round 1 when you don't need elite level play to have success. We haven't had an above avg LB since Trotter. The 8 man boxes and front four will alleviate the need at LB. The staff believes in Gerry. I'd sign KGH back on a 1 year deal for insurance. Even though J. Brown is the ST/WLB they traditionally sign.

oh I didn't even realize KGH was still unsigned. I'd have thought there'd be more of a market for him.

McShay has us taking Patrick Queen at 21 in his mock draft 4.0.

what was his explanation? usually every time i see that there is a caveat that it wont happen.

I took the 24th off from work so I can be really drunk and irrationally upset when we draft tee higgins.

Seems that all the teams with multiple first round picks also have needs at WR

Vikings adding that first round pick could spell trouble for moving up in round 2 or trading back.

I can see them drafting an OT then drafting a tier 2 WR with 25 or vice versa.

Miami I can see them going QB (Herbert), D-BPA, WR

SF OL/WR

SF is going WR. They got Deebo and then nothing, and are in a prime spot to get Jeudy or Lamb or Ruggs. They might trade the pick, but if they stay at 13, they are going WR.

I also think NYJ at 11 and OAK at 12 both take a WR, so #13 might be the hot-ticket last chance draft pick to lock down whichever of the big 3 WR's is left. Now that I think about it, SF will trade the pick, because they are going to be getting multiple offers.
