Ha ! Exactly the positions I drafted on Fanspeak, a few posts above yours.................and in the same order as well.

Great minds think alike.  I never heard of Fanspeak, so for the record I did not copy you.   I beg pardon for not reading your post above mine.  Uncanny.

We really need some offensive player help.  Past few drafts have been defensive heavy due to various circumstances already mentioned elsewhere.  Need help draft wise and free agent wise to upgrade numerous positions … wr, te, rb, ol … just about every position needs/could use help!

Yeah its getting ridiculous now. With the amount of resource that's been pumped into the defence, they should be able to able to cope by now without having another stack of premium draft picks pumped into them. They are going to have to sign Martinez as that pick really needs to go on offence.

WR and OT are the biggest needs at the moment and TE could be close after them.  If the right QB falls into position that you genuinely think could succeed Rodgers you have to think about it as he isn't going to last much longer physically before he really breaks.

Never thought for a minute you copied anything, it just amused me you thought the same way.

From what I am seeing at the moment this is an excellent year for an ILB.

2019 was a poor year for them, but 2020 is stacked with maybe a dozen or more guys as possible picks in rounds 1-4. this is a great year if you want WR, RB, ILB, and it's pretty good for QB as well. I'd also say it's a little above average for OT, so a lot of positions the Packers might be interested in are well represented............just don't look for your TE in this draft.

UNLESS you're in the position to draft Albert O because he's a better prospect then both Noah Fant and TJ Hockenson were last year.

Don't draft WRs, RBs, FBs, TEs, Guards, Centers, Inside Linebackers, Specialists, or non pass rushing NTs, in round 1.

Thanks

We won't be drafting any of them, nor will we be drafting DE, NT, OLB, S, CB, OT, QB. Say hello to a trade back to round 2. :D

Neither of those Iowa OTs looked ready for prime time against Michigan today. Michigan is not a great team or defense either and the tackles were overwhelmed.

Outside of Andrew Thomas, I don't see a single 1st round tackle. I'd rather take my chances on day 2 unless we gamble on Leatherwood or Wanogho's upside. I'd be just fine with someone like Lucas Niang or Liam Eichenberg on day 2.

I don't see any DL or OL, at this point, that'll be worth the pick at the back end of the 1st.

Unless you want to be like the Bears, Lions, Vikings, Dolphins, Bengals or Falcons over the past 20 years.

I'm not saying your take is untrue, but the need for (offensive) tackles is so acute in the NFL, they WILL be overdrafted all through rounds 1 and 2. They are like (a lesser version of) QBs in that regard. Even worse, they usually are not ready 'out of the box', because of the differences between college and NFL play.
