It should. Given our QB’s propensity to avoid tight windows.

Great, albeit sad, point.

EDIT: although, the best route runner in the NFL was dusting corners left and right last year and still didn't get the ball, so how much does that really matter?

If the Vikings make all 12 picks as currently slotted, they would need $4.670M in cap space to sign their rookie class (12 picks x $610K = $7.320M ::  $11.990M - $7.320M = $4.670M)

(Rule of Top 51 removes the base salaries ($610K) from each of these rookie deals in terms of the cap - currently lowest base salary in top 51 is also $610K)

Starting to put the aggregate board together with Dane Brugler's release of his final board on the athletic - if you all have boards from analysts that you want on the aggregate, OR, you personally have a board you want to submit, post them here please.

Only requirement is a vertical ranking of 100 prospects at minimum

Honestly, I’m think trade Harris and maybe a 3rd for Trent Williams.

Draft Gladney and Winfield in the 1st round than BPA.

Problem is the Vikings don't have the money to sign Williams.  His agent is angling to make him the highest paid LT in history.

Technically they have the money with Harris going the other way.  Need less than $5M to sign our draft class and trading Harris pushes us north of $23M in cap space - first year of a new deal for Williams could be structured in a way to afford him.

With the number of holes, presently on this team, and the lack of activity in free agency, no OTA's and probably a shortened training camp and preseason, how many rookies are you thinking will be opening day starters?

Technically you're right...but the likelihood of it happening is slim to none.

My guess is one. Hopefully more of them crack the lineup. There are some positions that look weak, which is why I think one of them will be starting opening day. But we don't want rookies starting just because there is little else there. They should only be starting if they show they can handle it.

Last year Bradbury was the only opening day starting rookie. That proved to be a fairly large mistake. We don't want to see that again. It is generally better for both player and team when rookies are stuck behind someone for a bit and have to earn their way into the starting lineup.

It worked out for Adrian Peterson to play behind Chester Taylor.

On the other hand, it worked out fairly well for Randy Moss to be "starting" right away. But back then WR2 wasn't generally considered a starting position either.

With all that said I believe there is going to be more rookies starting open day then we have in the past. With our terrible cap situation we don't have the luxury of having rookies sit a year and learn. Depending on what happens with Harris I can see 3 or 4 rookies possibly starting.
