Who is the best S for the 2019 season in the NFC East?

Most points will be the starter - second most will be the Back-Up. (Hopefully there are no ties, but in the event I feel - or enough posters would like an amendment or a run-off we will decide how to proceed then.

Our division has crap safeties. But the league as a whole has crap safeties.

Uh...what? There's this dude in LA that would disagree with you.

To answer the thread, I'm going with Jenkins.

There is maybe 5 good safeties in the entire NFL. Then you have a bunch of above average to below average guys. Full of mediocre safeties.

Our division is full of mediocre safeties.

Jenkins and I don’t know how it isn’t closer. Collins barely plays the actual position well. He’s a good footballer. But liability, IMO.

It feels like this debate has been had before.

A better coverage safety in Jenkins (Sean Taylor) vs a better run stopping/playmaker in Collins (Roy Williams) has more accolades. History repeats itself.

Taylor was both.

No he wasnt. Dont let your biased memory revise history. Williams had more everything stats/accolades 3 out of Taylors 4 years. It wasnt until the year that Taylor died that he finally started to surpass Williams.

But thats a different debate for a different thread.
