JPP (possibly) out for the year - opts to NOT have surgery

He probably shouldn't play at all with a neck injury.

Hard to say, not all neck injuries are the same.  John Lynch left the Bucs with a bad neck and played well for Denver.  I don t put anything past JPP.  He blew half his hand off and came back.  I respect the man, a big pair of cajones.

Opportunity is knocking for Barrett and Spence that is for sure.

Yeah. I'm guessing he was given at least one opinion that he could try to "walk it off." Which sounds more promising than him being scheduled for surgery immediately.

Arians said that JPP is progressing ahead schedule. He said a return in October is very possible...
