Where are you getting this information? Mack, Watt and Miller all flip sides based on match ups. DLaw played LDE. This list is very inaccurate.

You're right, for the handful of guys I used depth chart listings for, I got the side mixed up.

red for right, blue for left <--- from defense perspective

  • Watt
  • Von Miller
  • TJ Watt
  • Kerrigan
  • D-Law
  • Myles
  • Hunter
  • Cam Jordan
  • Joey Bosa
  • Mack
  • Campbell
  • Chandler Jones
  • Griffen
  • Melvin Ingram
  • Vernon
  • Dee Ford

Of course no player plays one side exclusively, but I promise you Watt and Von do their work attacking the right side/lining up left. Give me a break Matts, that is common knowledge. I'd be surprised if you could find me even 2 of their combined 30+ sacks in 2018 coming from the right side. Mack was always an LDE in Oakland, so I'll admit I didn't realize he is now listed at ROLB, BUT it seems they just move him around now, as if you watch his 2018 highlights it's still the left side where majority of his sacks come from.... I'll leave him neutral then.

I really don't see how it is even a debate that there is more talent rushing from the left side, which is just the point I am trying to make. It's been this way for the past few years... There was a slew of articles and takes about the death of the "blindside" in 2016 or 2017.

It appears only Eagle fans feel this way.

Do you feel if he played LT he'd be worse than Williams or Smith? I just think it's positional bias at work here.

And I think Smith is the best LT in the NFL.

Not at all. I think he's great and the best RT in the game. I also think Martin is the best OL in the game. But I could see a strong argument made for Nelson (colts).

Have Smith as the best LT in the game.

Nelson as the best LG in the game.

Kelce as the best C in the game.

Martin as the best RG in the game.

Lane as the best RT in the game.

In terms of OL - I would take all four of the other guys above Lane. And that isn't a knock on Lane.

Lane makes Lawrence, mack and miller disappear is he really worse than any of those guys? I still think it's RT bias. Even though that makes no sense cause some of the best rushers in the league go against the RT these days.
