If Lane got popped again, it would probably be indefinite. At which point I would care very much, but only because he got caught, and not because he actually did it.

Also, it seems like steroids were the thing preventing acl tears. Now everybody tears something because they ain't got the 300% extra testosterone necessary to maintain rubber-band like ligaments.

That is the opposite of what I have read. That the increased steroid/hgh use has made athletes so strong and fast that ligaments cant keep up.

Preach!

When healthy the answer is probably Smith. However that is the issue in a nutshell. This notion that a RT is less important  these days then a LT is patently false. This isn't 10-20 years ago when the best of the best rushed from the left side,  that has flipped.

Mack, Miller, Watt, Kerrigan, ect, ect you name the best of the best Pass Rushers in todays NFL and the vast majority of thier snaps are from the RT side.

Went Lane Johnson

Miller and Mack play both sides. There is no evidence that the best pass rushers play more LDE than RDE. The fact that you Eagles fans keep saying it makes it seem like some sort of circle jerk to promote your guy.

There is a reason NFL teams value the LT more. They are football smarter than you guys, so maybe put some stock into their opinion.

Are we voting for most valuable position or best OT? At least put some stock into the actual poll question, and Lane is better at his job than Tyron. Gets less penalties and graded out higher. Also doesn't have back issues that aren't likely to go away like Tyron.

Im debunking the idea that Lane has a harder job. Because he doesnt. That is pure silliness that no one outside of Eagles fans would agree with. But, you guys are quiet the supremely biased bunch.

Smith is better than Lane when they are both 100%. Smith, Trent and Lane are all supremely talented and do their jobs at an all pro level. There is no wrong answer here.

100% Tyron Smith died as soon as he started having back problems.  There are wrong answers. This is who is most likely to have the best 2019 season. That's obviously Lane Johnson. Why? Less penalties. Healthier. Higher graded. There is no single argument in Tyron's favor, other than what he looked like 2-3 years ago, and he'll never look like that again. Back problems are a b and Tyron plays a position that's going to make it worse.

It’s pretty ridiculous you’d say Lane Johnson is “obviously” better than Trent Williams and Tyron Smith.  You could poll fans from all 32 teams and only an eagle fan would say that.  At best Lane Johnson is debatable, more likely Trent Williams or Tyron Smith will be the superior player.

Lane Johnson is obviously more likely to have a good 2019 than Trent and Tyron, because he's just as talented, less penalized, and healthier. How does this not make sense? You think Trent Williams plays more than 12/13 games this year? Spoiler: He doesn't. And neither does Tyron. Neither one has managed to do so in the last 3 years, and this is about projecting how they do this year, not what they have done up to this point in their careers.

Predicting injuries is pointless.  I think it’s “obvious” Trent Williams and Tyron Smith are better players than Lane Johnson when on the field.

No it's not. I was able to predict Sea Lee's injury every year. Trent Williams is going to miss at least 5 games.

Everyone was able to predict Sean lees injury every year.

And now everyone can predict Trent Williams playing only 11 or so games, and racking up more penalties in those 11 or so games than Lane Johnson does over the course of his season.

That’ll match up pretty well with Lanes next suspension.

Wouldn't match up at all actually. Are you getting dumber? Lanes next suspension will be a full year, not 5 or 6 games.
