animaltested
BTW, these two moves free up 28 million in 2020. That's plenty of money for Wagner and Reed extensions (if Seattle deems it necessary). Seattle will have something in the ball park of 82 million to play with in 2020.
JaguarCrazy2832
Wilson and Wagner, who is left on the field?

Wilson's shown he can play with basically nothing around him, which means Seattle just needs to continue drafting well on the defensive side and maybe get a couple of bargain FA's and they're set. Broncofan
I will give full credit to SEA for letting Baldwin go, and thus free him from any potential situation where he'd be asked to return bonus $ with a retirement announcement (although asking gets sticky if it's retirement due to injury). He was so good for so long, man when the end comes it comes quickly. Nothing but respect to #89.
Broncofan
FWIW Baldwin's farewell Twitter blast was epic - worth reading, and of course the best sign off I can think of....

So he’s gone from the NFL? Seattle did him a favor by paying paying his salary no? Class move by them.

If he’s retiring due to injury it’s a tough prop to get $$ back. But yes either way it’s a class move by SEA removes all doubt.
