Agreed. Figured they'd be risk adverse in this situation.
Danand
Final prediction: The 22/28 ratio will eventually end up being different, as Young is moved to IR designated to return and McSorley come in and takes his spot. With Ricard getting most snaps on offense, the ratio would be offense 24/26 defense. Roberts and Scott gets the nod, pending injuries Scott is most likely to be inactive on gamedays. No room for Dixon as Lamar is essentially the 4th runner. In case Gus goes down we can either bring in a similar hammer or let Ingram take those reps. If Ingram goes down I have confidence in Hill backing him up and if Hill goes down DeLance Turner can be brought up from PS. Ricard will be the blocker from the fullback/TE role, Senat just didn’t do enough and we try to stash him on IR and we take a chance on an oline shuffle if Stanley goes down. Sieler (think I got his name right) didn’t seem to develop, so he is a PS candidate alongside Willis. We make sure to beef up the middle with Mack, and McPhee/Ferguson will be the 4th lineman who can rush a bit + be stout against the run. Olaka will be the thumper/ST’er goalline/short yardage situation LB, but most likely inactive on gamedays, Canady the same but will have some special teams value. Young we hope can get back during the season. I hope Elliot wasn’t injured last night as he just seem to be a playmaker who can use the reps to learn and make less mistakes. QB: LJ8, RGIII (2) RB: Ingram, Justice, Gus (3) WR: Snead, Moore, Boykin, Brown, Roberts, Scott (6) TE: Boyle, Mandrews, Hurst (3) OL: Stanley, Hurst, Skura, Yanda, Brown, Bozeman, Mekari, Powers (8) 22 DL: Wormley, Williams, Pierce, Henry, Mack, Ricard (6) OLB: Judon, McPhee, Bowser, Williams, Ferguson (5) ILB: Onwuasor, Young, Board, Olaka (4) CB: Smith, Humphrey, Carr, Young, Averett, Jones, Canady, Bethel (8) S: Thomas, Jefferson, Levine, Clark, Elliot (5) 28 Wolfpack
