BayRaider
The Packers is ran like disney, it’s too big and public.
Activated10
Still confident Packers are going to win SB regardless. Rodgers is on revenge tour after Mahomes won MVP, Brady another SB and Rodgers missing playoffs again. This is going to be exciting to watch for Rodgers to remind folks who the best QB in the league is
malak1
Sheesh. It's bad enough that this isn't his team (it's Rodgers'), but the man can't even have his own staff?

Agreed, Packers finally given Rodgers a quality defense since 2011
N4L
Its not really surprising. He hasnt been around long enough to have a lot of connections around the league. Doesn't always mean its a bad staff. Its just hard to fake chemistry and if you dont have it, the task at hand (winning) is always harder. Guys who know each other can have better chemistry, but even then it doesnt always work. So, this doesnt really say a lot other than LaFleur is inexperienced and was not negotiating from a position of strength. LaFleur's brother is an understudy with the 49ers. I think we may have officially "promoted" him to "OC" this year, because pretty much everyone on our offensive staff was in high demand from other teams this offseason. I love how Kyle basically blocked everyone from leaving except for Scangarello to the Broncos. The only reason he was allowed to leave is because he is actually a true OC and will have full control of the offense in DEN. Everyone else would not have had an opportunity to call plays, so they were denied interviews.

For one thing, I sincerely doubt that sort of thing even crosses Rodgers' mind. For another, winning the Super Bowl is a much more complicated deal than a team's quarterback wanting to prove to the world he's a badass.
ttitansfan4life
LaFleur was only hired to be a puppet... McCarthey(although overrated as a coach) wouldn’t give full control to Rodgers so it was time. LaFleur is only there to assist Rodgers. Obviously it's more complex than that but I don't doubt Rodgers gets motivated everytime his greatest rival keeps stacking up the rings and he's stuck at one and then new QB on the block looks like younger and better version of himself gets most of the headlines. Also the fact bleacher report article saying Rodgers is a diva and didn't respect MM intelligence which puts a small dent into his Rodgers character also adds more motivation. Aaron Rodgers this season is going to be most motivated since his first year where he had to replace Favre. For goodness sakes we had draft analysts suggesting the Packers to take Lock in 1st Rd. MVP Level Rodgers with elite running game and top 10 defense are getting the Packers the SB
