Steeler Hitman Posted September 1, 2017 Share Posted September 1, 2017 Yes! It is a huge improvement. $4 million of this years salary paid by the Browns. I think that is a reasonable rate for a top ten CB. Many people are down on him, but when healthy, Joe Haden is that good. Even unhealthy, he is still better than anyone on our roster playing CB. Our CB position just got a lot better. The more I think about it, Ross Cockrell may even play better as a dime CB outside. We have so many slot types right now. If he didn't work out the deal is pretty cap friendly where he could be cut without a lot of dead money from what I have heard as well.
