Activated10
The team is talented no doubt but they're not SB contenders just yet. 1 year away from being SB contenders as this team still have some growing pains to get through but they're close. Can we get some actual analysis why instead of blanket statements without any support?

Secondary not good enough, Ty Hilton only playmaker on offense. I want to see more than 1 good year from Ebron before I call him a legit player
Nightime
Yeah that receiving corp isn’t scary
JaguarCrazy2832
Their defense is much better than it was 2 years ago and OL is miles better too. Still wondering about the weapons outside of Hilton
lancerman
To early to say anything. Nobody would have pegged the Chiefs as contenders last season
Blackstar12
This thread was made way too early. At lot can happen between now and the start of the season lol.
Daniel
I hate the Colts with every fiber of my being, but they are absolutely Super Bowl contenders IMO.

The additions of Campbell , Funchess and Cain return is definitely going to improve the passing game. The addition of Spencer ware will also help the run game. It’s the defense that’s going to be a question this season. Edited May 12, 2019 by Blackstar12
bomont
IIRC they had an easy schedule last season, inflated their record somewhat...it's hard to say just how good or not they really are. I don't think Funchess will do much of anything but Campbell might. Their D's back 7 outside of Leonard scares no one, but if the draft picks are even half as good as last year, the potential is there. Their run game is still weak and Ebron won't get even half what he did last year for various reasons but Doyle is a wild card. Just hard to say. With the Parity in the NFL and ever growing injuries to key Stars, We have no clue what teams will do what year in year out. Outside of the only Given, NE. Heinz D.
The Colts are obviously contenders. I mean--seriously? For a meaningful thread, the OP needs to just map out who won't be there...then we can respond in some sort of fashion.
MrOaktown_56
They were absolutely annihilated by the Chiefs last year in the playoffs. It wasn't even a game. Are they likely to make the playoffs? Sure. Is there a gap they need to close though... absolutely.

The example you made has some merit but it doesnt end the discussion just because the Colts went to Arrowhead which is a tough place to especially and outside for a dome team and got beat pretty soundly. The Colts need HFA for sure in the playoffs because even when they had Peyton and all the great players on the Colts they still had trouble going outside to New England and winning.
