BayRaider
Good backup imo. Shame he never realized his potential as a starter but he wasn’t terrible. Hope he enjoys retirement.
Danger
I thought he retired like 3 years ago....
footbull3196
Seems like he was retired for his whole career
ET80
Probably made some good money as a former 1st round pick and backup QB. If he was smart with his money, he's very well set up for the next phases in life.

I guess he will work again but set up well.

I would have figured more as a former 1st round pick, but that's the number per Spotrac. If he wanted to be a HS coach, he could do that for the rest of his life and never worry about money (pending he's not wanting a 10,000 sqft house and a new Bugatti...)

Or that could be his business plan. Maybe he's going to use his mansion as an Airbnb and have the best Bugatti Uber.

Scalamania
I'm curious if Kansas City will retire his number or induct him into their Hall of Fame. He absolutely deserves it after the storied career he had there.
EaglesPeteC
Retire implies there was once a career, which just couldn’t be more incorrect

In addition to the $ 10 million he earned, he also walks away with a reasonably intact body and cranium That's a huge win for any player in the NFL.
Kiwibrown
Kickers, punters and back up QBs are the NFL's true winners.
