how long do u think gase makes it

I think he’s actually a decent coach, Miami was more competitive than I think their roster would indicate.  And I do agree with his stances on Mosley and Bell.

They also have Darnold entering year 2, and I am a fan of his.

All that said, idk... he’s got a lot of things working against him.

Back 7 will look like this I’m guessing:

Ardarious Taylor

Joe Schobert / Sione Takitaki

Christian Kirksey / Mack Wilson

Greedy Williams / TJ Carrie / Tavierre Thomas

Denzel Ward / Terrance Mitchell / Donnie Lewis Jr

Morgan Burnett / Jermaine Whitehead / Eric Murray

Damarious Randall / Sheldrick Redwine

Bit light on linebackers, but with averys versatility, I guess that isnt a problem.

Sometime it do be like dat doe

A limited number of things can happen when you pass. Basically, the pass is: 1. Complete for positive gain; 2. Complete for negative or no gain; 3. Complete and (positive or negative gain) the receiver goes out of bounds; 4. Incomplete; and 5. Intercepted.

In crunch time when you are ahead, if you are having success running the ball you should feature it.

Using the pass as an extension of the run (quick hits and such) can make sense, even if it is for negative or no gain as the clock keeps running.

"3" and "4", above stop the clock.

And "5", above, obviously is the worst case.

To muddle metaphors, you have to hit what's pitched.

But if you can do it, the possible outcomes favor running the ball.

You missed one. If the receiver catches the ball and runs backwards to get out of bounds the clock does not stop. If the WR stops trying to get forward progress to just get out of bounds the clock still runs

except for the formation often dictates success running the ball - and its usually out of pass friendly formations.  its a ll about number of dudes in the box.  and if youre in that passing formation and your QB has 70% completion rate and they have too many dudes in the box, a checkdown will likely succeed more than getting stuffed.
